Serving a digital world

with one comment

The Vatican has just announced the theme of next year’s World Communications Day: “The priest and pastoral ministry in a digital world: new media at the service of the Word.”

The accompanying papal message is likely to encourage priestly bloggers. According to the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, Pope Benedict will “seek to invite priests, in a particular way… to consider new media as a great resource for their ministry of service to the Word, and to encourage them to address the challenges born from the new digital culture”.

  1. Your site was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday. :)
